The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is set to launch My FCA in spring 2025, a new online portal designed to streamline regulatory reporting and access for firms. This initiative is part of the FCA’s Transforming Data Collection programme, which aims to simplify how firms interact with the regulator.

A single sign-in for multiple FCA systems

Firms have expressed concerns about the complexity of regulatory reporting and system navigation. In response, the FCA is introducing My FCA as a single point of access for multiple platforms, including:

  • Connect – for regulatory applications and attestation tasks
  • RegData – for managing regulatory returns
  • Online Invoicing System – for payment and fee-related tasks
  • Firms’ register page – for verifying firm details

Users who have already registered for multi-factor authentication can sign in using their existing FCA login details, reducing the hassle of managing multiple credentials.

Key features and benefits

My FCA will provide firms with one central location for essential regulatory tasks. Key benefits include:

  • Viewing scheduled tasks – See due dates and statuses for RegData and Connect obligations.
  • Easy navigation – Move between FCA systems without needing to log in multiple times.
  • Regulatory updates in one place – Access system notices, the Regulation Round-up, and key guidance.
  • Handbook access – Look up FCA rules and guidance with ease.
  • Financial Services Register – Check firm details quickly and efficiently.
  • Fees calculator – Calculate annual fees conveniently.

What firms need to know

  • My FCA will not be mandatory at launch. Firms can still access Connect, RegData, and the Online Invoicing System through their usual bookmarks or website links.
  • No changes to reporting deadlines – Firms will continue to receive reminder emails for upcoming obligations.
  • User management remains unchanged – Access requests for RegData and Connect should still go through the Principal User, while Online Invoicing System access requires a firm’s unique validation code.

Continuous improvement and feedback

The FCA is committed to improving My FCA over time by introducing additional features and gathering feedback from firms. While the exact launch date will be confirmed closer to the time, firms will be notified via the Regulation Round-up and updates on the FCA website.

The introduction of My FCA is a step forward in simplifying compliance and providing a more user-friendly experience for firms. By consolidating key functions into a single portal, the FCA is making it easier for firms to manage their regulatory responsibilities efficiently.

At Neopay, we understand that regulatory changes can be complex, and we are here to support your firm through the transition. If you have any questions about My FCA or need assistance with compliance, contact us today to find out how we can help.
